What I’m Reading Right Now 📖
As usual, I’m not going to make a TBR because I already know I’m not going to follow it. Right now, I’m struggling to pick what I’m going to read next. Usually I’m reading 3-4 books at a time but everything feels flat in the first few pages.
So right now, I’m only reading an Edgar Allen Poe retelling called The Cask by Danielle Allen (Amazon*). I decided to read the original first and it’s giving this story so much context and life.
I had Danielle on my show back in Season 3 and she mentioned this book. I also had the absolute pleasure of meeting Danielle while she was in Raleigh for one of her book tours. My favorites of her books is Work Song (Amazon*) and Curvy Girl Summer (Amazon* | Bookshop*).
Now I just need to figure out which sci-fi or paranormal book I’m reading on my Kindle.
